Went there recently to meet up with some Coworkers while I was in town. It specializes in small plates so we shared. The food was tasty. Hakkasan is always reliable and good..

I have always loved this place, but I save it for special occasions. I have been numerous times but my favorite was when I went after my graduation. My parents were visiting from out of the country and I wanted to go to one of my favorite restaurants in the city. We made a reservation and so the table was ready as soon as we got there. The hostess was delightful and escorted us to our table. The ambiance of the restaurant is great you have two semi-enclosed seating areas and a bar in the middle of the room. We sat towards the right but both seating areas looked fine. We promptly ordered our food and it came out in no time. My favorite dishes here are the vegetable dumpling platter and the mushroom noodles. I may or may not dream about them sometime :P but that was not all we ordered we ordered a lot of food mainly because the helpings are quite small. for dessert, I love their macarons I would recommendthis place for sure. TIP: Just have a great time..

Nice place.., good and fast service, the food was so good! Worth the money well, not to mention.. its the best chinese food i've ever tried in San Francisco.

Amazing food with good amount of vegetarian options. Our server was super helpful and meticulous with our dietary restrictions and the sommelier recommended some great wine to go with the food. Highlights were the vegan chicken and the dimsum platter.

Hakkasan was something I stumbled into while looking for a restaurant to have dinner at. I was attracted by the blue, mysterious, and upscale ambiance it gave off. This is a high-end restaurant - definitely expensive but it's a great once in a lifetime (or several times a year) dinner experience. The classy bar environment was a win, great for drinks with co-workers or a posh date night. However the food was underwhelming since they're common everyday Chinese dishes, and portions are like how'd you expect in high-class restaurants. That was expected so I was not disappointed nonetheless. The cocktails is probably what drew me in. They are creative, delicious and unique!.

Not well . I had issues not addressed . Staff great . Management poor . Never will return . It's so sad I was looking forward to dinner do much ..

Absolutely loved the service. Had dimsums which were very soft & melting in your mouth. The main course had stir.fry.udon noodles. Thought was over priced for the quantity they serve. Most of the food was too sweet for.mu taste.

This is another place I love. The ambiance and the food and the service is just great. Absolutely no complaints whatsover. We arrived here when their kitchen was closing and they still served us, even though they couldn't seat us at the normal tables because no one would be waiting on us. We enjoyed the experience of dining at the bar because there was only one other couple there. The bartender was nice, and served us the first bowl of rice and first cup of tea. It's just little things like this that make all the difference..

Delicious vegetarian dimsum platter !! I have been to the mumbai hakkasan and expected the veg options to be the same as india. But they were very different. Great ambience and service...
