We stumbled across this local gem and were very pleased! We were greeted & enticed by the owner who delivered on all promises. Food is high quality & fresh Italian. Atmosphere is quaint and old world. No complaints!.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to! The food here is amazing, the flavours are so authentic and all ingredients on the plate compliment each other. If I was to be a bit picky, I would say that the sponge from the tiramisu was a bit too wet for my liking - not sure if this is because it was in the fridge for too long before service? Other than that, everything was perfect. The vanilla pannacotta is faultless. I've never seen so much of a wobble in a pannacotta ever!!!.

Refused service. Our hotel, The Sir Francis Drake, recommended Cafe Tiramisu for dessert. Our party of four women who were in town visiting arrived and the hostess greeted us. We asked to see the dessert menu. She went and got them from inside and we looked at them for a couple of minutes. There was one table available for 6 outside and others inside. She asked where we would like to be seated. We said outside. Then she said, "Oh, we don't serve dessert only." SERIOUSLY??? Why didn't she say that from the get go? We made it perfectly clear we were there for dessert, she handed us the dessert menus, and then turned us away? We told her the hotel recommended them, and she just shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry." So we went right next door to Cafe Bastille, and they were more than happy to serve us coffee and dessert. And they had a much better dessert menu anyway. It was delicious! BTW, that table for 6, the hostess most likely didn't want us taking up only for dessert, well, it never was filled by the time we left..

Wonderful wait staff made great recommendations. The leg of rabbit was delicious as was the veal scalloping. The Tiramisu dor dessert was to die for!.

Cafe Tiramisu is cool. Literally - a bit chilly. We had to move seats because the door opening and the fan above us kept us chilled to the bone. They moved us to a corner table and it was better. Very noisy and a bit cramped. But the food and service were superb..

The service here was terrible, and on top of that they were out of several items on their menu..

I went to Cafe Tiramisu with my family and we all had a good meal. I really liked the atmosphere. The food was great and I think it is an interesting ally to stop in for a good dinner. I thought the service was excelent and our waiter was friendly. With the authentic Italian food it felt like I was in a side street of Italy. I would reccoment this to families and couples..
