Stopped by for lunch today at a friends suggestion. Great place right out on the docks south of market area. I had the crab eggs Benedict. It was delicious. My friend had the lox & bagel with salmon. Tasty too. Great setting..

Definitely packed, classic seaside lunch affair.. It's the meat and potatoes of Harbor food. A timeless nugget of Improvised unrefined history. Servers are always slammed but maintain the right attitude..

Great place! Killer breakfasts and bloody marys. The place to o on a sunny Sunday morning for brunch. Hang out, eat drink, people watch. It is a certain must do a time or two..
View & Ambiance: Perhaps S.F.'s best unpretentious venue for an outdoor repast next to water. Waterfront restaurants are overpriced. Okay. But given that, The Ramp's "overpriced" menu ($11 gardenburgers & $11 salads) includes perfectly good, if unambitious, food. It was fresh and they made no mistakes. Even though it was a complete zoo with 75 minute waits for a table, *table service* was very good, kept everything in order, and didn't attempt to rush us out to make room (how cool is that). Host service was pretty bad, forgetting to call some names when they came up, but not unfriendly or snooty. Perhaps S.F.'s best unpretentious venue for an outdoor repast next to water....
