3rd Street Grill is criminally underappreciated. Run by a retired couple -- both of whom are professional chefs -- it's probably ignored because the low-key diner vibe isn't much to brag about. But what this place lacks in visual flash, it makes up for in quality and price. The motto promises "just good, tasty food made from scratch" and it delivers. Service was fast, prices were very reasonable, staff is friendly, and the made-to-order burger was fresh and delicious. The Chinese chicken salad (a special of the day) was also excellent. Beer on tap, and comfortable seating, too. If the only thing that's stopped you from walking in is the unimpressive decor, look closer -- you're missing a good one..
