Overpriced wanna-be steakhouse. We were excited to try out this "steakhouse", with it's fancy decor and menu items. But all hopes faded away when we tasted the Prime Rib Soup. I had very high hopes since this was a high end steak house. But I swear it tastes just like Progresso Beef Vegetable soup from a CAN. I'm sure they put their extra prime rib pieces in there, but I guess they boiled them so long they lost all texture and flavor. I only ate 1/2 of the small cup. It was all down hill from there. My meal was the ribs and chicken. The mashed potatoes were soupy and flavorless just like cheap "instant potatoes". The ribs were ok, but you expect a lot better for a 20$ plate. Don't even bother ordering any meal with a Chicken Breast, mine was exactly the same as the rubbery fake chicken you get on a McDonald's salad, smashed flat, dry and no flavor at all. (I took half of it home for the dog) They must have had a new cook on staff, because it seems like a popular place, so I tell the waiter, but he doesent seem to care. He says 2 weeks before he was just a busboy, so he doesent really know if it looks right or not. (Am I a cheap skate if I don't tip 20% ?) I end up talking to the manager "Mike", and showed him the pathetic chicken and he said "what's wrong...that's what a chicken breast looks like". I sensed that he thought we were looking for a free meal, so I didn't bother complaining about the potato slurry, or the canned soup. After all, it was date night and I didn't want to make any more fuss. The kicker came when I noticed that they charged me $3.75 for an extra tablespoon size scoop of Ice cream on top of our 7$ desert. Really !?!? Their excuse was that it is Home Made. Give me a break. To be fair, the Lamb Chops were pretty good, and would have been our only reason to go back, but the managements attitude sealed the deal for us. There are too many restaurants to choose from. There is no need to waste your time or money on this place. P.S. "Owner" Bobby, I would have tracked you down about these issues, but I have come to know that owners that employ these managers/waiters/cook staff, already approved of this behavior, and I would just be talking to a wall. So I just did a public review instead..

After reading some reviews I decided to try. I was disappointed to say the least. Your quality of food verses price needs work I would give a 2 out of 5.

April 17th dinner in the bar. For the past 6 years my wife and I have been regulars at Outwest, finding great food and outstanding service in the bar. Tonight was a huge disappointment. This was the first time we dined there in 2014. The service was very poor. We had to flag the guys down to order drinks and again to order food. We got our food before our salad, so we asked that it be deducted from our bill since it was never served. All we got was not being charged extra for the salad. Very disappointed..

Loved it!. My husband and I went here for a date night. Wait was long, but that was expected on a saturday night. I ordered a filet mignon wrapped in bacon with a baked potato and a side salad. The salad came first and was so fresh and crisp and I am obsessed with how yummy the sundried tomato balsamic vinaigrette was. My steak was very tender, a little more rare than ordered but was yummier that way! Overall, we were super pleased and would go back whenever money allows us!.

Best steakhouse in Kernersville, but far from best in Triad. Steaks consistently good (not great) but other food is hit or miss. Consistently good service, and long waits on weekends if you don't call ahead..

There steak topped salad is a favorite.

For a darn good meal and great service (that is kid friendly) I would always go here. We have eaten there several times and have always been impressed! Very accommodating and clean! We love it!.

Always my go to. My husband and I eat here at least twice a week. The food is consistently awesome and the service is the best in town..
