Agape is a one of a kind Restaurant with authentic Armenian cuisine that has been hosting guests since the 17th century. It is located near The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The building is protected by UNESCO and is one of the oldest restaurant in tis one of the oldest restaurant in the caucasus region. The Refectory is run by a young armenian couple who repatriated to their homeland and decided to give life to this unique Architectural and Historic treasure. Visiting Agape* is a wonderful cultural and gastronomic experience for its guests. *Agape is a Greco-Christian term referring to love, "the highest form of love, charity" and "the love of God for man and of man for God". Within Christianity, agape is considered to be the love originating from God or Christ for mankind.Details

After 4 days visiting Armenia I can say with no doubt that this restaurant is the best I’ve tried in Armenia. Thoughtful waiters that know how to advise according to your taste, typical Arminian cuisine with a signature twist. You can expect to be surprised.
