Pretty yummy bread and pastry! I have had better at a nearby cakery (Strawberry Fields).. But for a little independant store it’s very nice and it’s great to see the baker who owns the store be so happy to greet and sell her tarts to all the locals Bread is also baked fresh on the weekends! lalaneats.wordpress.com
I visited The Tart Sisters with my mum on the weekend and we bought pretty much one of everything (sweet!). Its a tiny shop with only a little bench out the front tk sit on but if you dont want to wait until you get home to devour your treats, Yeo Park is nearby and you can stretch out in the sun for a sweet treat picnic.I particularly enjoyed the choc chip cookie with pink salt as im a huge sucker for the sweet/salty combination. The chocolate olive oil cake and salted caramel brownie were also delicious! I would have liked a little more zingy curd in the little lemon curd cake but the lemon tart was delicious. Next time ill have to try to restrain myself with the sweets and try the savoury tarts which looked great. atrueloveofmine.com
