Great indoor & outdoor seating with a view of Opera House. Staffs are friendly, like it when greeted from the minute you walk in all the way to your table. Ordered croquette and prawn for entree, Prawn is Amazing and had wagyu rump for main.. they were so juicy, and cooked to perfection. We both too full so only ordered panna cotta for dessert, but we got extra dessert (meringue with sago) as it was our anniversary dinner.. the Meringue is goooooooooodddddd (hopefully it will be in the regular menu)
Ox tail croquettes were delicious – a tad dry though. Flavour was nice but also had tiny pieces of cartilage which is expected of ox tail but may not be pleasing to some people.I ordered the grain fed steak which was cooked nicely, but the steak itself was under seasoned. The veal jus on the other hand was extremely salty.Was very excited to try the passionfruit meringue tart which was recommended as their best dessert. However, it was sickly sweet and there was barely any passionfruit flavour. Was expecting a delicate balance between sweet and tartness but it was just a sugar overload – extremely disappointing for their claimed best dessert.Service wasn’t the best – the restaurant was only half full and it was extremely difficult to gain the staff’s attention. Drinks weren’t great and very slow to come from the bar as well.
