If you are looking for a cold pint in the middle of Ross, The Man-O-Ross Hotel is the place to go. It a a beautiful heritage building and the original destination for those travelling between Launceston & Hobart (Ross was the half way point). The staff are chatty and friendly as are the locals who obviously frequent the establishment on a regular basis. There’s not a huge choice on tap, but it is cold and it is reasonably cheap. It’s nice to sit and relax and soak up some of the history of the location. You can also grab a decently priced pub lunch or dinner in the main area. foodiemookie.com
