Great food big portions. Had dinner here while we were camping up the road in the national park. I had the Cambodian curry and my partner had the parmigiana and we were both very happy. Huge servings and the food was fresh and delicious. Standard tassie kitchen closing early though so if you haven’t learned that yet then take heed…

Great with little kids!. Iluka Tavern was our choice for lunch on this particular day and all I can say is that the seafood was delicious! Although the broth was somewhat salty, the mussels were executed to a very high level and all the other meals my group ordered were great overall. The best bit about this place was the play room for the little ones; it’s well designed and allowed the adults to have a moment of piece. On the opposite end of the spectrum was the service, which was mediocre at best; there is nothing worse than finding out that what you want off the menu is unavailable. It get’s your hopes up and then dumps you down. It’s also not very difficult to say a sentence when handing out the menus. Also made me feel a little bit like we were an inconvenience. Oh well, still worth a visit for the food. thechameleonfoodcritic.blogspot.com

Good food & wine. Great service, large portion sizes. Had a chicken parmagiana and a schnitzel. Apple crumble for dessert was excellent and huge! Would return. Stop serving meals at 8pm so can’t be too late.

Fresh local seafood. Excellent experience, thank you.
