The perfect place to relax and enjoy a casual lunch. A beautiful view of Mt Dove and Mt Amos can be seen from the cafe if the weather is good. We had a delicious mushroom pizza and soup of the day here after our hike to Wineglass Bay as it was only a short drive away. I really do recommended Tombolo for its location and food.
Worst service during my holiday to Australia. Wait staff was very rude, and even had the nerve to critiques my wife about her order. I strongly do not recommend supporting this establishment.
Excellent service and awesome location. You can either take away and stroll around or do fishing eating your pizza or enjoy sitting at the restaurant. Ordered greek salad, garlic pizza and veggie pizza. I loved salad, might have gone with a bit more garlic and veggie pizza was good. My little one enjoyed her chips with me gobbling up the remaining ones 🙂 . Overall i liked it and will go again if i am around coles bay. Good work guys !
Did not expect to get such good food in this tiny area. Both the dishes we ordered were specials so I don’t exactly remember what they were but really enjoyed both. One was a pea soup with bread. I enjoyed the flavour and consistency of the soup. I can see however that others may say it requires more seasoning but I really enjoyed it the way it was. The bread was toasted and on crunchy side, once again how I like my bread. The pizza was some sort of fish with pesto topping. Fish was nice, delicate tasting and perfectly cooked. Good amount of flavouring but not to over power the fish. Not too much cheese (once again personal preference). Service was quick.
We stopped here for a light lunch and very much enjoyed splitting a Sunny Garcia pizza. The staff could have been nicer, but they were quite busy while we were there. This place apparently has no toilets for customers. The staff directed us to a public facility down the street which was disgusting. Please, you serve food and alcohol, don’t make customers walk down the street to a single toilet during tourist season.
Service terrible, the waitress so rude & abrupt, the pizza was so thin it was like pita bread & burnt. No cheese on the base, tasted terrible. Got takeaways and the box had spider webs and a dead spider on it – disgusting!
We had a late lunch at Tombola Freycinet and had a wonderful meal. We had the Soup of the Day ( sweat potato ) and the Funky Fungi Pizza and they were both excellent. The Soup was thick and tasted really well and the pizza had a surprising combination of mushrooms, parsley and red onion that we just loved. The service was friendly and quick.
