A beautiful place to stay for a night while travelling through Tassie. We stayed here i between launceston & Hobart and it’s a truly relaxing beautiful old mansion. We enjoyed ourselves enormously in the grand old dining room although you need to recognise that the number of diners will generally be low so it’s worth doing what we did and trying to ensure you dine there when others are there to add to the atmosphere. The waiter on the night we were there was young & less experienced but made up for that with restrained enthusiasm.
