Had breakfast on a Sunday morning. Food was okay but the staff were rude with poor attitude. This surprised me as you’d think they’d try to have a competitive edge over the popular Spencer’s down the road. I would have liked the plates to be cleared after we finished and to be asked if we were after anything else (we finally got the wait staffs attention and ordered more coffees). A classy touch is to farewell your guests as they leave, but we passed three wait staff as we walked out and none of them even looked at us. Will not return or recommend to others.

We went on fri nite. I cannot remember the last time I had a main for $10. The quantity and quality were both good so very good value overall. Service was friendly. Busy in a Friday nite so booking important. Recommended

Had breakfast here. Eggs were cooked perfectly and Benedict was nice overall though nothing outstanding. Bacon and maple pancakes were on the dry side (not enough maple) and bacon was a tad overcooked. Food took a long time to come out, we had both finished our coffees by then (maybe 20-25 mins). Coffee was nice so were wait staff though didn’t get offered water and left very thirsty. Menu was limited (basically 20 different kinds of egg and pancakes), would be nice to see some healthy options like granola or fruit. Not rushing back for breakfast but coffee was good

Been here a few times now. Wanted to wait to give my review as the service had been very mixed. Service 3 out of 4 visits has been exceptional. Food has been delicious. Have had breakfast a few times and very happy with the eggs. Today was lunch. Very happy with the special of the day pizza. Coffee is a bit bitter for my liking.

Visited Currency Cafe for Sunday brunch,Found the staff and service spot on, even though it was penalty rate Sunday the cafe hadn’t cut back on wait staff and this contributed to a professional feel to the placeThe food was, at best,ok with my fried eggs a little over cooked and bacon undercooked, the side of hash browns saved the day, the Missus had poached eggs that were not hot,The coffees were reasonable, The time passed pleasantly at the cafe and we found we had lingered long enough for a second round of coffee, just needs a little tweak in the kitchen
