On the way to Cradle mountain from Launceston, we were hungry for brunch, so we decided to pull over to this cafe. I thought it was a bit over priced even in a country town- pies were $8 each. I tried chicken and leek pie for the first time- and I didn’t like it. My partner had a Thai chicken curry pie-never heard of, but then we hardly eat pies-now that had nice flavours. That would have been better off being served with rice instead of in pastry though.
