Worst Indian food I ever had in Australia. When complained to the chef about the same, he replied very arrogantly and didn’t even accepted!!! No value for money at all.
As a Brit, I’ve eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants. The food here is exceptionally good: varied, flavoursome and spiced with care and refinement. Honestly some of the best Indian food I’ve eaten anywhere at this price. Highly recommended. I will return often. A real find!!
A great experience. Our first time here was a great experience, we chose from the vegetarian section of the menu and every dish was beautifully prepared. A quite subtle and well balanced use of spices (the veg special rice was both fragrant and generous with ingredients), really nice naan and roti breads, generous servings and helpful service.

Lovely! good value. Stumbled upon this on our first night in Hobart. Delicious very good value we had Chicken Tikka masala, Chicken Mugali with Peshwari naan and rice for 2 with a drink . Service was brilliant lady serving was very chatty and friendly. Defo recommend!
Great food and amazing service. I went to mother India with my friends. I saw the restaurant was well presented and the staff was friendly. The menu offered all traditional curries and also quite a variety of veg and non veg curries. I ate chicken vindaloo, butter chicken with naan bread. All my food was really really great and delicious, I never eat in Hobart before. I will go back again and again. If anyone try, hope they will enjoy the dinner at mother India.
