Service Excellence. A lovely old building at the quiet business end of Cecilia Street, St Helens, Tasmania. What a striking purple exterior shopfront (that made me walk up to discover) and a modern interior and clean and crisp white inside. The ambience and friendly service complements the beautiful gourmet coffee and the range of biscuits is just scrumptious. The cleanliness and roominess of the facilities is AAA too. Even the giftware is well selected and reasonably priced.

Disappointing. If you like good coffee (Sydney/Melbourne) you will be disappointed. The melting moment was good though.

Touches of 1940’s America in St Helens. Billie T Cafe, Gallery, Giftware, Entertainment, is situated, Main St St Helen’s. In a historical building, with a very unique decor, white walls and a very well preserved vaunted ceiling, with polished floors and matching table and chairs. El fresco at the entrance, but once you step inside, your eyes will be immediately delighted with the 1940’s decor, with an incredible carefully selected, eclectic range of giftware. Quite eye popping. The reason for our visit was for a good coffee, and this is what we found, along with a very tasty home made biscuit. The coffee is de Lacey, Premium Estate 100% Arabica, very good.At the back area of the building there is what you would call a 1940’s speak easy, complete with live Jazz. What New York in St Helen’s?
