Lovely 8 course degustation menu for Christmas ($95). Shame to see spare seats at the beautifully set up long table outside the restaurant. Fresh plump Tassie oyster to start with raspberry and creme fraiche. Mains followed with dishes of pork belly, quail & beef. All were a delicious combination of spices & herbs though a touch too sweet for my taste. The quail as perhaps my least favourite, tad over cooked and there was no sauce so it was quite dry to eat. Really though a fantastic experience with attention to detail which included a visit to the kitchen to watch the chef at work if you wished. We were serenaded by a guy with a guitar singing a combination of popular songs & just the right amount of Xmas carols. Didn’t get his name but he was very good and it added a lovely touch for the diners. Try & get a ticket to one of these gigs if you get the chance. You won’t regret it. Happy grazing.

Have been here twice and both times we have been disappointed with the service. Staff are friendly but have to be asked for water and both times forgot to come and take our orders. Items ordered were not on plate either. Food is good once you finally get it

Fresh and inventive meals with prompt and friendly service. Menu always changing and diversifing, sad to see some good old friends no longer available, but comfort can be found in the new. Interesting alternatives to standard coffee, good as their coffee is far too bitter for my taste.

Great stuff! Delicious pancakes, great coffee and very approachable, friendly staff. The lunch menu looked just as enticing. Hope to be back soon!

Best caramel slice. EVER.. The amazing selection of sweets made it hard to choose, but the caramel slice was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed! Lunch and service were great too. Would love to come back and try the brekkie (and grab another caramel slice!!)
