Called in for coffee on ANZAC day with a group of 7. The caf was moderately busy, it was mid-morning, so they were not yet serving lunch. All we ordered were drinks, it took almost an hour to get our drinks. They couldn’t do any iced coffee or iced chocolate because they had no ice cream and the drinks fridge was almost empty, so the cold drink option was very minimal. We like to support the SLSC but this was very disappointing.
This is a gem. Locals now operate the cafe with genuine hospitality. The views are a given….but spectacular. The food now is fresh and simple but very effective. Don’t change! Fourth visit now and is really one of the best for service, ambience and food.
Lovely surprise. Was driving along the great ocean road when we saw a small sign for this marvellous place. Just stopped for a coffee but the view from the deck was breathtaking (and the coffee was terrific and in big colourful cups). Will definitely be back sometime soon for dinner.
