Went here for breakfast today- I agree with other reviewers the coffee is above the standard for the area of what we reviewed! However there a little work and chef education required in the kitchen.Eggs Benedict were ordered, and even an apprentice knows this means poached eggs, however , we received two very hard boiled eggs that had been boiled in a concentrate of vinegar. This is so disappointing as this little cafe and book shop has a lot going for it amongst its peers. Let’s hope the chef takes some cooking classes before our next review!

Amazing chocolates!. The new range of handmade chocolates they have in store are amazing. The truffles are ridiculously good! Went perfect with my cappuccino today.
The best in Bairnsdale. We had the vegetarian breakfast here and it was delicious and very filling! The staff were lovely and our waiter pre warned us about a bit of a wait for our food, I like this because then I do not mind waiting. It is a busy place and it has a nice atmosphere. We would definitely go back.
