The girl who served my food and coffee didn’t say a single word to me on either occasion. Eggs Benedict was almost cold. The guy behind the counter was more pleasant however and the leather seats in the corner just swallow you up!
Such lovely staffCame here for breakfast whilst visiting in Bairnsdale. The staff are super nice and helpful and we’re happy to exchange my coffee when I made a mistake.The food was great and reasonably priced. There was a bit of noise around but the surrounding were happy.Good cafe, decent coffee as well
A bit too much attitude from the staff for my liking. Not friendly or welcoming at all. We ordered a big breakfast each, both with poached eggs, but one order with solid yolks. Both orders came out with runny yolks however. Not a difficult request, but too much to ask for. There are also no eftpos facilities here.
We dropped in having no idea about this place and how lucky were we? We both had the Big Squirrel breakfast. I don’t often get defeated but I was this time. The eggs, bacon (lots of it), tomato, mushrooms, sourdough toast and hashbrown (so crispy) were done to perfection. The following coffees we delightful. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
