We visited Leyaline for dinner today. The ambiance was good with mellowed lighting and the staffs were nice and friendly. The beer was chill and the curtlery was regular. The music was very loud and not soothing to the ears.
The food menu is good widespread Egyptian food with authentic names.
We ordered the mixed grill first which had barely 3 sheek kabaabs- 1chicken, 1 vegetarian and 1 lamb. The rest was full of chips and salad. The salad was simply leafy combinations and no cucumber or baby tomatoes. There was also a small portion of salted aioli. We paid $28 for the dish and was totally not worth it. We also ordered khosari which was good to look and taste. It was a rice and macaroni with tomato and cheese. Th burnt onion on garnish taste good. The khanufa in the end is very good and a must try. We could hv got ourselves much better dinner for the price we paid. Not very happy with the overall outcome.
