Fresh, quick service, very tasty. I just had a fish burger and it was fantastic…combination of the fresh fish, great sauce and generous toppings made this a fantastic burger. Will be back again

This place is ridiculously expensive. Not only that, it is terrible quality. The fish is almost certainly from frozen and the chips tasted like they had been re-cooked. Awful.

Expensive frozen fish.. A dirty little place where you can’t understand the menu which is all over the place. I wanted fish and chips for three adults. The good fish was $12 each piece so we had the frozen hake and it was shocking. The chips were nice but at $10, again super expensive.

From a regular. Off The Hook offers a range of delicious and simple varieties of fish. I’m there at least once a fortnight, taking advantage of the brilliant lunch specials and the fish brought fresh from the markets early each morning. The owner is a top bloke who always welcomes me in with a smile and fun chat, always recommending top stuff. Personal favourites include spicing up the tornado wrap and the fish burger with a grilled salmon, or barramundi. Topped off with the freshest hot chips in the area and a crunchy potato cake, meals from Off the Hook provide the greatest satisfaction for a fish-lover.

This place is excellent. Top quality hand cut chips, fresh fish-the salmon is, as the name suggests, off the hook. The owner/operator is a real bloke, friendly and passionate about his product. Plus one time he gave me free sushi. If you’re kosher, it’s up your alley, if you’re not, it’s up your alley. If I could swear in these reviews, I would.

Fish is alright a bit under seasoned Onion rings are great they taste fresh.

83% no.. I fear that what goes on behind the scenes is doubtful. I’m a chef, I know food. The chips have been re-cooked from old batches, and the fish tastes like it’s been out half the day.

I called and asked if there was a table available, and the man on the phone, whom I believe to be the owner was beyond rude! Such a weird manner to take with well meaning customers. I addressed him politely, even when he erupted at me for asking, and not just walking in. Weird.
