On damp Wednesday night and after a long day in the field it was pleasure to walk through the doors of Izzys Tavern. Warmly welcomed by who we think may be Izzy, we were quickly seated and looked after. The food portions were generous and delicious. In fact we will see Izzy (if that’s her) tomorrow.
Went there for lunch on a Sunday when there really wasn’t many dining options around. Found the staff really friendly, the place was immaculate and the food was reasonably priced and was delicious. I had the carbonara and it wasn’t too rich, decent sized serve and it was the first time I have ordered a pasta dish that is served with a side salad, but the salad was good. I wouldn’t hesitate going back if I was in town again.

Well Priced Lunch. Good quality lunch at a very reasonable price. Recommended!
