The place had a “homey rustic” feel, and a great breakfast and lunch menu. We tried the duck filo (which was well done and quite tasty – I just prefer savoury dishes in general, and found the quince jam a bit sweet) and the pork shoulder pasta dish was exceptional (packed with flavours, pasta done just right and generous serving). Service was prompt and price was above average but good for what you get. Will definitely try some of the items on the breakfast menu when we are around next.
Well I did not expect this. I started with a smashed avo and this chef really knows how to create a very tasty and delicious meal and the coffee is really worth the wait. So when you’re out in Hamilton next I would highly recommend a stop and try the menu or a very well made coffee.
