A cosy, friendly Indian restaurant on High Street, away from the hustle of Chapel Street.
There’s only 10 seats (give or take 2) inside, so I wouldn’t be popping in on the weekend without a reservation or bringing in a large group.probably better for takeaway service.
You can see where the magic happens, and yes, there is magic happening here. There’s no bain marie action happening here, you can hear the sizzle and the bubbling of curry.
I judge a place by it’s butter chicken. It was indian comfort food at its finest. I also had some rice, garlic naan and a mango lassi. They have some good dinner deals for those who seek value.
Friendly people work here. In the corporate heartless world we live in, sometimes you just want a stable local business that has been there for years, and has done good. 7/10
