Great place to be for breakfast, especially when you start the day with a walk inside the botanic gardens of Rio de Janeiro. It is a walking distance spot, serving brasilian food, great coffee and even take away products from their deli. Owner of Emporio Jardim is a very friendly woman with Jewish roots, who is personally taking care about service and meals quality. We tried pancakes from manioc with several stuff, both sweet and salty, freshly baked croissants, fruit salad and eggs. Everything was delicious and fresh. Funny detail: you order your meal by writing on printed menu, so they won’t miss your choice for sure. We took with us jar of a lovely strawberry marmolade and home made granola as a nice souvenir from there.
