Lovely little coffee shop with beautiful open and lit wooden interior. The coffee was good. They seem to have a nice array of baked goods as well. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Love sitting outside watching people walk although the chairs weren’t the most comfortable.
Service is sometimes a hit and miss. It’s a hit when it isn’t busy but when crowds start piling up sometimes they don’t have enough staff and work slow. They have a selection of food from Sidewalk Citizen Bakery like scones and soups which help change things up often. Their coffee is good but I miss the specific kind of aroma of the coffee beans that I can’t find through the Phil & Seb’s coffee. During the taco popup I had tea instead and found the tea to be quite good. Enjoyed it better than their coffee. hermoderncanvas.com
I’m biased, but I do love me a good chai. P&S in Mission is not only one of the most comfortable workplaces in downtown, but their chai is nice a creamy. That being said, the seating space is at a premium, and if one starts drinking wine and eating the bill can get quite high. But hey, productivity comes at a price, right? bighairandhighheels.com
Yay! I love this place. The Dulce Latte is fabulous and their Apple Croissant is heavenly. I like that these guys are coffee snobs. The espresso is immaculate, the coffee is obviously picked with care. The baristas know exactly what they are doing. I like the no-syrup philosophy…. it works for me because the dulce latte is just the right level of sweet. I love the decor here, LOVE the music and can relax here indefinitely. I do love the hours because they’re open till 10:00 p.m. and I love my late-evening coffee-and-contemplation time. Again, the place is very clean which is a relief. Highly recommended.
Simply put, some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. The coffee here is the only coffee I don’t add cream and sugar to, instead I’ll just get an Americano and enjoy the complexity of the coffee itself.
PHIL & SEBASTIAN had bad service – after having ordered, the cashier asked for payment, and then repeated himself even before I got my money out (my wallet was already in hand before I even ordered). He also held out his hand while I was doing so and when the server put my drink in front of me at the cashier, they called forward the next guest before I even picked up the drink, making the counter extremely awkward and crowded. The tables in that section are also attached to the ceiling (instead of having legs) so that was very innovative but the table shook and swayed whenever someone walked around upstairs, making it uncomfortable to seat and eat at. There was also no indication for the menu except for AT the counter / cashier, which makes it hard to see what’s available.
Always great!. Always great service, amazing coffee! Probably my fave coffee place in the city
