There are just so many better places for coffee in Calgary, without the snooty attitude. My iced Americano was disappointing, and it looked like it physically pained my barista to smile. Who knows, maybe he was just having a bad day. To be fair, I don’t particularly enjoy fruity/acidic roasts, which I find even their darker roasts are. I’m not sure if their espresso is roasted to be lighter as well.All in all if you like a generic modern atmosphere, coffee that’s on the lighter and brighter side, and minimal human interaction, you will enjoy this place.

I do still prefer a single shot in my latt else the taste becomes somewhat burnt and bitter. Not the most comfortable seating, however the beautiful patio flowers and atmosphere make it well worth it. carlivh.com
