I’ve passed by this place a lot, but never actually ate here. Today, I got the opportunity and am surprised at what they have to offer. This place have a variety of dishes and is really where you can get more bang for your buck. Their sashimis are thick cuts and their rolls are gigantic. Their typical rolls are the size of typical futomakis. We ordered a spider roll, a BC roll and a Tama Unagi roll. The BC roll is highly recommended. The fish skin and fish in the BC roll is so well seasoned, it makes all the difference in the roll. The price, compares to other places, is more than reasonable. I always come here for sushi take out. Their sushi/rolls leans on the bigger size and great prices. Their sashimi slices are fresh and very tasty. This is definitely my favourite take out spot. stephykeung.com
I always come here for gigantic house rolls but decided to try a side of something different today and ordered a spider roll as well. Spider roll: Was quite disappointed by what $7 worth of spider roll looks like (left side of the picture. i.e 5 small pcs). I’ve definitely had more impressive spider roll for the same price elsewhere. Wouldn’t order again. House roll: Great value. You’re not going to get the freshest tasting sashimi but it does the job. I typically get full from half an order of house roll ($6… cheaper than the spider roll but you get so much more!!!)
This place is one of the most value places Ive ever been to. The portion sizes for the price is so unreal. The taste might not be the best but I personally think that it tastes great! The house roll is massive, the sashimi in slabs. Man all I gotta say is this place is value .
This place reminds me of Samurai Sushi. Quantity over quality. Huge rolls, sushi and sashimi at decent prices. Quality is alright..great considering the price. Food comes out in less than 5 minutes which makes me wonder if some of the sushi is pre made. Service is great, they make sure your tea is full and empty dishes are taken away as you have your meal. A lot of take out orders. Order in advance for a discount.
I just finished my meal here. I would say it’s on par with samurai style sushi. Prices are good and your getting your value. Service is definitely very friendly. I would come back again if I’m in the area. The rating was almost a 4, except the washroom. Nobody did a bathroom check for a hour. Other then that, pretty decent here. I got the negitoro, salmon nigiri, and ikura nigiri.
