LA Grill is a decent place for some comfort food. I especially enjoy coming here for the late night deals, which are available from 8:30pm and onwards everyday. You can get their LA burger (which is pretty darn big) for only $5.99. I usually add an avocado on top to elevate the burger to another level.My other go-to orders are the garlic prawns and the zucchini sticks. Food is reasonably priced and pair well with beers. They have different drink specials for each day of the week as well.

New complaints – no credit cards unless you spend over $50 for two people and with their good prices that’s not easy to do!! service and food quality is dipping and they have put through a price increase. In addition they now nit pick and charge for every extra thing you might want like extra sauce. Clearly no understanding of North American culture….
I was surprised by the prices here as they were lower than what I would expect. I soon realized why. Service was nearly non existent. It wasn’t busy and we were ignored for awhile before someone from our table got up to get the water ourselves. I found it strange they do not serve fries. They have roasted potatoes as part of the regular side but no fries. What sort of place has no fries?! You could tell the potatoes were made a long while before and not fresh. Their calamari was good and certainly exceeded expectations for $8.95 but I am definitely not coming back here again.
Have always liked LA Grill but I ordered food from there and was not told of there new payment change which is you have to spend $50 or more to use a credit card. Not good customer service and wasted my time ordering and going all the way there to find out can’t use credit card
just that dinner there and i have to say that despite them trying to smile at you – bad service – they tried ignoring when you tried to ask for service and I’m not sure if it has to do with short staff – but when it comes to the drink 1st – ice tea tastes terrible (after the feedback they did give another one that tasted the same but fine then), and when they got me the wrong salad (ordered Ceasarand then served regular) they took away my own plate with the vinegar dressing that i already put on the place and mixed that veggies with Ceasardressing – how impressive – don’t expect service as their price is low which makes them hard to live in the market that I know – but definitely room for improvement.
My boyfriend and I had lunch here a few days ago. We were greeted upon entrance and were seated right away. The inside of the restaurant looks a little old and not as clean. I got the LA Burger while my bf got the New York Steak. After about 12 mins, we got our food. I was surprised with how big the serving was! Mine came with salad and potatoes. The burger was okay. I love how it had everything I want in a burger (bacon, mushroom, cheese) but the beef itself had this taste I can’t quite describe. They added some sort of sauce which I didn’t really like. Other than that, the service is quite good and the prices are reasonable.
Good place if you are on a budget. Suggest going after 830 for their late night specials. You can get menu items for less than $8. Lunch and Dinner specials require the purchase of a drink but its still good value. Service needs work though. Took awhile to take our order and waitress didn’t care to check up on us. Food looks a little sloppy but what you pay is what you get.
