If you’re craving for some rolls, this is the place to go. Waiting is pretty common at this restaurant but it is justified by their tasty menu.Rolls are interesting and unlike authentic Japanese rolls as they have a Korean twist to them. My favourite must-get item from this place is their spicy salmon sashimi, which is cubes of kimchi salmon sashimi. Refreshing to eat, and not spicy enough to kill my taste buds.My favourite special roll is the spider roll. Fried ingredients give it a crispy and unique texture. secondspls.blogspot.com

October , 27, 2017I didn’t go there at least 3 years. Why not give it a try with my parents for lunch today. They decorated into Halloween theme. They used to hire Japanese sushi chef and waitress, but it’s end up most chinese and Korean work there , with black face and bad attitude waitress. No wonder less than 8 tables with customers around 1pm lunch time.We had:Toro nirgiri —- taste like tuna more than Toro to meUnagi nirgiri —- it’s so good… tasty and melt in my mouth.. I ordered 3 pieces first , then ordered 4 pieces more…this is the only dish I like Tobiko with quail egg sushi… nothing specialPrawn tempura —- the batter is too thick, extremely oily, taste awful… worst prawn tempura ever..Snow fall roll or something forgot the exact name, that’s what the waitress recommended us… so small … not much crispy snow flakes on top as mega sushi… so disappointed. We are not full yet, but no mood to order more, rather go some where else for dessert later instead. Their prices are cheap, but food quality is not good as before, won’t go there again.2.5 points for unagi sushi only.

Bad service, below average food.Got there at 2:30 pm, a little bit before their lunch break. Walk in and up to the cash counter to make a take out order. Server was busy with doing something at the register, so she asks me to wait a minute. After waiting a while she takes my order and I pay for the food. She then asked me to sit at the front to wait. It is close to closing and the restaurant is fairly empty, so I didn’t expect a very long wait for the food. After 20 I go up to ask about my food and none of the servers seem interested in helping me. So I go look at the made orders and take mine. After I pick it up, the same server that took my order and money asks me if I have the right bag. I tell her yes. After I leave the restaurant, the same server who has taken my order and money comes out to ask me … If I had paid… I get home to open the take out boxes to find my order is wrong. The food is below average. The rolls we’re falling apart and rice was undercooked.Everything was just bland.

Im giving this place a 3/5 because the wait to get a seat was just way too long and they dont provide enough seats for everyone waiting (but I guess its not something they can control as when we finished eating, there were plenty of empty seats). We ordered the philly roll, salmon and tuna sashimi, beef teriyaki roll, scallop roll and some miso soup. My favourite dish of the day would definitely have to be the philly roll, which had the perfect balance of cream cheese and all the other less creamy ingredients. If you ever come here, try it! Everything else is really average, although they do give you thick slices of sashimi, which I liked. Would recommend if you are nearby! 🙂

This place kind of reminded me of Sushi Town / Sushi California. We ordered take out on a Saturday. Negitoro roll, Ikura nigiri, Spicy salmon sashimi all tasted good for the price. But I would definitely avoid the seafood stir fried udon noodles, the seafood is not fresh at all, the only one shrimp it had was mushy and crab sticks were flaky… Not sure if I would come back again.

Grabbed dinner here with a couple good friends, and of course I was ever so eager to try out another spot. Dining area was clean and fairly spacious, with standard but not dated decor. Hostess greeted and had us sat promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive. Onto the food! We had: chopped scallop, spicy salmon sashimi, chicken teriyaki, mangodise roll, volcano roll and finally the calamari roll (I think thats what its called). It had squid in it, thats all I know haha. All of our rolls were delicious, although the mango on the mangodise was a bit sour which was a letdown. Spicy salmon sashimi was on point and Mura gets the for some of the most artful sushi presentation I’ve ever seen All in all, a good experience and looking forward to future visits.
