I can’t believe it’s not butter!. Hello/Bonjour!After an enchanting stay at the lovely PRTC, what better way to cap off the experience than a 5 star dining experience!I really enjoyed the robust flavour the food had to offer. And the selection was just top notch, Knowing exactly what the next days meal entailed was always a delight. I was really disappointed when Tivoli’s was shut down from Norwalk during my stay. But where would I eat I asked with an IV drip hanging from my arm! Surely no one could compare to the delights of Chef Tivoli!I long for Tivoli’s devine taste.
After checking in to the Chateau de PRTC and settling into my deluxe lawn-view suite I found myself rather hungry for some sustenance. I followed the smell of fresh treats and gourmet cooking down to the five diamond (better than 5 star) resort kitchen. It’s called Tivoli’s after the founder, Mr. Tivoli. Though Mr. Tivoli is no longer with us I felt his presence through the proud service of the buffet cashier. He had a twinkle in his eye as I check out my bare plate…no bare for long! Because let me tell you I walked up to that buffet and began salivating. I sat down, breathed a deep breath and hit the pizza tray, then creamy soups and fried shrimps, then I moved over to the meats and potatoes. I barely had room for dessert which was pineapple and four pies. I passed out. The next morning I went back for a breakfast experience like no other. I don’t know how I got home. But the fruity breakfast bowl was so sweet and juicy that I had to eat the waffles. And the waffles were so supple and tender that the breadysyrup mixture gummed up the roof of my mouth. Hah. I couldn’t stop eating and drinking all the juicies and cappuccinos. I never left the do it yourself cappuccino machine. I finished off with the triple A snasauge links and waffles with juicy fruity compote and whiped cream. I would recommend Tivoli’s to anyone who likes variety, fine dining and health conscious eating.28 Feb, 2012Great food, great times. Need I say more?
