Pretty terrible food for a nice looking Establishment. You can get better and more authentic Chinese food in a mall food court. Tried the chicken chow mein… Blah! In what world does chicken chow mein have sweet and sour sauce added into it? Almond chicken had almonds thrown on top to call it almond chicken… The spring rolls were the only saving grace by a hair as they were very oily. I hope there’s better Chinese food in this town somewhere..
The Best Chinese Food in Chilliwack. I grew up in Chilliwack and the Woodman has the best food and service of all the Chinese Food places in Chilliwack. Not only is there food excellent but so is their service. I was given a wrong item and when I returned to get the correct item they told me to take both at no charge. My family loves this place and it doesn’t take long when doing take out.
One of THE Best in the Lower Mainland. Real fresh food served hot. The S & S pork is tasty and tender not like the compressed sawdust you get in other restaurants. Good sized portions and I really enjoy the fine as opposed to thick noodles they use. Every dish my GF and I have tried has been delicious. I think we’ve sampled over 15 in the past couple months.

ABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST PEOPLE!. Ordered take out at 5PM, was told it would be ready for pick up in twenty minutes. Walk in at that time, I don’t even get as far as the counter and they tell me to sit over there. Didn’t say hi, didn’t ask my name. So I sat there and sat there…. Restaurant had one table of 8 who they ended up taking their orders after I had sat there for 10 minutes. They started getting food 5 minutes later and I am still sitting there. People came in to pick up their orders and still I sat there. So 30 minutes later, I walked out. At 7 PM they call to let me know my order is ready. I did not respond, then they called back at 8PM!!! again left a message, your order is ready. Really? 3 hours later. ?Never have I been treated so rudely and so poorly.Why didn’t I get up and go to the counter after 10 minutes?? Because I shouldn’t HAVE to. I was sitting right in front of them!!I love to support the businesses in Garrison Crossing, but NOT this one!I am shocked that they are still in business.I have never written a review before ,but this experience just absolutely shocked me.
Woodman Chinese Food. Have lived in Chilliwack for 5 years.Tried every Chinese place in the city. Finally tried Woodman and have been sold, we have been there several times, always very atisfied with staff,service,portion size, quality and a good variety of taste.No uncomfortable after taste.By the way there menu is not the same old,same old typical Chinese food, that you get in other restaurants. A differant touch.Good luck with your restaurant, we will continue to patronage.
