Best kept secret !!!. Best butter chicken in the lower mainland…. Can be as mild or spicy as you like. Love the new mini Reno, lovely family of owners have kept the quiet ambiance but still serve delicious, varied quality food at a good price….
What you see is what you get – don’t trust the high rating. When I saw that this place had a 90% rating i thought that the negative reviews must have been wrong. It ends up I was. This is a dirty little place that looks so shabby. Okay, ignore this I told myself – the food must be good with a 90% rating. Well after almost an hour of waiting (this on a Thursday night) our food finally showed up. It was such a disappointment. Poorly prepared with what must have been frozen vegetables out of a bag. Very little food as well. I’ve been to a lot of little indian places, some of them not so nice looking, but this one tops them all. A real dump with subpar food, and really slow service.
Decent Dining Experience in Tsawassen. Restaurant was hard to find. Its around the back of the plaza at 1077 56 Ave. Go down the little alley of the parking lot between the two build ings. Turn left. Food was decent. Flavour was very mild if you’re used to Indian cuisine. Portions were moderate size. Prices were $2-6 for appetizers; entrees ranged in price from $8-14. Ambiance non-existent except for tasteful acoustic Indian Music playing at a reasonable volume. Probably better for take-out than dine-in… That said, Service was excellent. Food service was quick. Easy option for Indian if you’re area.
****Amazing Food*** Best Prices. I absolutely love this Indian restaurant, it’s located close to my home in Tsawwassen and I love when my wife tells me it’s Indian night. The restaurant is located on the back side of the plaza so may be tricky to find at first. We’ve been ordering from there for years and it’s so convenient as you have a choice to dine in, take out or if your feeling lazy and don’t want to leave the house they also deliver. The staff is amazing and so friendly and always greet us with the biggest smiles. My wife and I eat here very often and have never had a disappointing experience and always leave full and very satisfied. My favorite main dishes are there butter chicken, prawn curry and ragan gosh it’s all to die for especially the butter chicken I’ve never tasted anything like it. It’s a true Indian experience and you won’t be disappointed. Always satisfied and get your money’s worth with there great prices. Thanks
Consistently Good. We have enjoyed excellent food, and good service from this restaurant over several years, and have no hesitation to recommend anyone to try it. The restaurant location could improve, it’s tucked away at the side and to the rear of an office and retail complex, but don’t let the location bother you. It’s the food you are after, and it has never disappointed. Consistently good is my honest opinion.
