Wonderful place. I ordered one of the sandwiches and a friend ordered the pesto pasta. The chicken on both our orders was grilled and wonderfully seasoned. Pesto was fresh and tasted like it was made on site. My fries were deliciously seasoned. The restaurant itself was empty, but our plates still took a while to come out. Will most definitely be back again. A great special occasion spot.

This place is a disaster!! Where to start?!One rude server for an entire restaurant. Wine that tasted as if it had been open for several days. It took 55 minutes to get our food, people who were clearly regulars and arrived after my table received their food long before we did.The food was semi-cold and way over salted. At the end of it the bill was outrageous. The server continued to be rude despite our best efforts to be friendly. It’s noisy, it’s unwelcoming. I will never return to this restaurant. Two strikes your out!!
This place has a great brunch and the servers are friendly. That being said, the past couple of times I’ve gone, either someone called in sick or they didn’t book enough staff to work. Took forever to be seated even though there were many tables available and then it took a while to have our order taken. Overall, I’d suggest giving it a try. 🙂
Needle in a haystack. I’m a self-named Souvlaki connoisseur. I have it frequently, and if it’s on the menu, it’s my default choice. My girlfriend suggested we check out this place, as a co-worker of hers lives in the neighbourhood. After my experience a Cusina, I had pretty much given up going that south in Guelph for a restaurant in a strip mall.I was so wrong it wasn’t funny. This place has a really great menu. It isn’t huge but the selection is broad. The atmosphere was very comfortable, and could only be described as ‘Canadian’. We were told the tables and chairs were made not too far away in St Jacobs by Mennonites. We started our meal with the 3-dip platter. The dips were fantastic (Greek/Middle Eastern) and you could tell that these weren’t out of a can. These were home made and so good.My girlfriend had the Stuffed Chicken. I had some and was blown away by how fresh everything tasted. She also had them with mashed potatoes, and hands-down the best mashed potatoes I’ve had in years.I, had the Chicken souvlaki and was so pleasantly surprised. It was the best souvlaki I’ve had outside of the Danforth. The Greek potatoes were the best Greek-style potatoes I’ve had ever.I plan on coming back to this place frequently as the quality of food, and pleasant, relaxing, atmosphere was refreshing in a world of franchises and low quality frozen foods.
