Oily food, not great…. We went for the lunch buffet ($11.99 ea.) and thought it was mediocre Indian food, unfortunately. I am vegan so I limited my dishes to those the server assured me were dairy-free. The lentil dal has butter in it so I didn’t have any but my husband felt it tasted quite oily compared to others. The channa masala that I had (which I usually love) was also very oily, with a lot of yellow oil on my plate after I had eaten it. In general, the dishes were all less tasty than other Indian. Okay food at best…
Good place to eat. The taste of the food I got was flavourful and I felt that the portions were great. I also love spicy food 🙂 The waiting time is the average you would expect at any restaurant. The people were also very nice too. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
Recommend. I like this place a lot, even though it’s not the best Indian food I’ve ever had. However, the service is great and the quality of food is consistent. My favorite are garlic naan and Chicken Madras, which are very flavorful. I also always start with vegetable pakora. The host (owner?) is extremely nice.
Pretty Good. Have ordered take out a few times. Food was pretty good but found it expensive for what you got. Chicken Madras and nann bread is real good. Samosas are smaller then most other places but good as well.
Super good curry, best in Guelph! I highly reccomended the chicken dansak. The buffet is not quite as good as the dinner menu, but it is still very good and well worth the money!! Very friendly staff and great service.
Wonderful food – especially the garlic naan! I love the freshness of the food and friendly service. I only wish parking was better in the area, and we would visit more often!
Memories of Great Indian Food.. So last night we ate in Toronto on Bloor Street at Mt. Everest. It was wonderful, really great place to eat….BUT…as soon as I took a bite I had a memory of even better Indian Food. Spice 11. We were treated in our office a while back with a delivery from Spice 11 and I never logged on to give my opinion of how the food was until I ate at another restaurant last night and remembered how good indeed the fare was at Spice 11.For me to remember the subtle differences and have the urge to drive out to Guelph to eat again says it all in my opinion.Spice 11 I will see you soon!
