Delighted about the Great Gluten-Free Italian food. We stopped into this cozy little Italian restaurant one cold January night for a quick bite. Expecting strongly to be ordering a meal sized salad (my typical order in a restaurant that I’m not familiar with – and being that I have an intolerance to gluten), I took a chance to ask our waiter if they had any Gluten-Free selections available. To our delight, we were informed that over 80% of the menu was available gluten free. We were informed that all we had to do was advise our server and he would relay the specification to the chef in the kitchen. We were also informed that an actual non-gluten menu was being worked up and getting ready to find it’s place in the menu book. When we saw and tasted the flavorful food that was brought out to us, we were won over. We have now integrated this restaurant as one of our regular stops when we are on the south shore of Montreal. A great find.
