Very friendly, with good quality and authentic Mexican food. I would recommend this place to all. Must taste there salsa. Will go back to try something new.
Had a lovely first experience. The family-owned restaurant is quaint and cozy, with very attentive service. I finally found some authentic Mexican cuisine, and turns out it was right in my neighbourhood. Will be going back again for sure.

A step above…….Taco Bell?. Staff including kitchen were very friendly and polite and you could see that they are trying their best to serve a clean and homey looking meal. This and the nice attitude could well be enough for some and thus it’s one of those rare occasions when you hesitate in writing anything negative.In the end it’s not my review that will make the difference but the very large, highly competitive and aggressive Montreal restaurant scene.Waiting time was inexcusably slow (our group of 5 and a single table in the place when we arrived and quickly ordered), ceviche was good, bean soup unremarkable and too thin, the rest clean but totally forgettable unless a plate of nachos from la cage au sport is your reference dish.They need to kick it up (speed of service and some major oomph…..) several notches if they want to survive.I hope this is taken as friendly and positive advice.
Excellent mexican fine cuisine!. Double thumbs up for the fine mexican cuisine run by a family. The quantity is just enough and the taste is well balance. If you wish to have a more picante sauce, do let the owner knows and he will bring the kick a.. sauce! Price wise very reasoable for the quality of food. I had my wow factor at each dish that was brought out. I am impressed and nothing else to say!Definitely a must on your montreal restaurant list. Will definitely go back!
Trs bon restaurant mexicain!. Nous sommes alls au restaurant El Sabor de Mxico samedi le 31 janvier 2015. La nourriture est traditionnelle du Mexique pour y tre alle il y a quelques annes, le service tait excellent, le Margarita tait super bon. Bref, dfinitivement y retourner!!! ajouter sur votre liste de bons restaurants Verdun.
