The Hidden Home, a hop, skip and a jump away from my home. This place always held great potential even when it was popularly known as Berry’s. I was eagerly looking forward to its new avatar.Ambiance 3/5The decor is subtle, understated and elegant. The red brick semi-finished walls with wooden paneling contrast a grey wall covered with empty wooden frames. The place is too brightly lit to lend the place an atmosphere so to speak. The seating arrangement is like that of a dining hall will all tables pushed against the walls in a long row. The double height ceiling could have been better utilized with beautiful chandeliers and different lighting scheme.Service 4.5/5Exceptional staff here. The staff is warm and courteous and they seem to communicate very well. From water refills, to serving food, to clean up and finger bowls they take care of it even before you can make a request. They can however learn the menu better and should be trained to make suggestions and offer knowledge of house specialties.Food 3/5Murgh Matka Kebab 4.5/5 Skewered chicken tikkas served in a clay pot. Lovely flavours and immaculately cooked.Oriental Chilli Fish 3/5 The fish wasn’t crisp as stated and the sauce (soya based) was too salty.Murgh Makhni 4/5 Well balanced gravy with boneless chicken chunks.Breads 3/5 Garlic Naan and Butter Naan. Grilled Fish 2/5 No sauce served. The fish and mashed potatoes were cold. They took the dish back to reheat. They must’ve microwaved it as even the salad and veggies came back warm. We were served a couple of scoops of ice cream as we let them know that we didnt like the fish.I do hope to visit again to sample more of their offerings before i form a final opinion. For now though, the Indian cuisine here is what i will put my money on.

The Hidden Home is one of the finest multicusine restaurant in Sarjapur Road , next to wipro which serves delicious Indian ,oriental and Asian food. The ambience is amazing, you would feel so relaxed as soon as you enter the restaurant . We went ahead with ala carte. The place is quite cozy and ambience is great with good music. The service was slow and the food was overpriced. We started with chicken manchow soup. For starters we went ahead with Mutton cilantro ,suggested by waiter and Golden fried prawns.Mutton was rubbery and we struggled to finish it , even though the menu we asked for boneless , we got a bone piece.Prawns fried in tempura batter , was average ,I have had better tasting tempura prawns. For mains we ordered Nonveg pulao , which took a lot of time , but tasted good.Overall it’s an average restaurant. In a location like sarjapur, where there are tons of great restaurants, this one is yet to make it’s mark.

I would have given this place a 3.5 but the courteous staffs definitely add to the service. The ambience is really soothening and fit for a date night. We had ordered manchow soup, paneer sizzler and jalapeno cheese balls. The taste was amazing , the jalapeno balls had a soft texture and were a treat. However, I did not like the fact that they served our starters post maincourse.

Visited here on 15th August for lunch. I have not choosed here there buffet. I go for ala carte. And I belive there I do it wrong. First thing everyone need to remember if you choose ala carte you have to wait long. There kitchen is little bit slow. I heard it with previous reviews also and I too feel the same thing. But my review is not based on that time. I hd ample time to wait. My order was very simple. Dimsum, beer and one fish steak. When ingot that dimsum, it’s not that smooth. Dimsum should be very smooth and you need to feel that warm ness. But it was little bit hard and I don’t get that enjoyment. And in the steak also everything is there but something is missing. Once again I don’t get that feel. I believe they need to do change there kitchen structure at least for ala carte. There staffs and managers are really good which is the only plus point for there total structure.

The food here is awesome. The only reason I’ve rated it at 4 and not 5, is due to the long waiting after being seated for the menu, long wait for a waiter to attend to us on a weekday where the place was brimming due to the corporate buffet crowd. We tried the pork chops and pork ribs from continental section and the abodo style pork belly which just blew our minds. Brilliant work by the cook!

The zomato ratings you are seeing for this place is exclusively valid for buffet, which I didn’t try. We chose alacarte, ordered like three items, two of them took sooo long to get served, out of which, one of them was served cold and both did not taste well. After waiting for half an hour, when we asked about third item,a random waiter told us that the it is not available.Insanely slow and irresponsible service,I can’t believe, how can they have flies flying around the tables in such a lavishly decorated place, even around the buffet tables. You NEED to look into that
