M.R.G Sweets Angadi! Located on 24th Main road, Near R.V Dental College. A simple and regular sweet shop in the locality with reasonable price with no seating and dine in. These are famous in sweets and savouries, they do have Chats cuisine during evening from 4 P.M till closing time. Prices if the chats were very reasonable and pocket Friendly. They do have some North Indian foods like Parata and Jalebi well known sweets and dishes, which are very reasonable prices. Planning to head soon to try other items from the menu.
Decided to try this place, very close to my office. We had ordered the aloo mutter paratha, samosas and kachoris.Pros:1. Value for money 3.5/52. Taste 3/5 (samosas were really good)Cons:1. Cleanliness and hygiene 1/5 (guys were making parathas on floor and the prepared paratha was kept on a platform, not even a newspaper or a plate was used to keep the freshly prepared paratha)2. Seating 0/5 (no seating area or tables where we could stand and eat)3. Service 1/5 (someone had ordered gobi paratha, 15 minutes later they realized that they do not have gobi and one person went to buy gobi, they took 30 minutes to make aloo mutter paratha and extra 15 minutes for parcel!)I WON’T GO AGAIN AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!
I would rate it as followsCost: 4Food: 4Service: 4This is a new sweets shop opened in the locality which serves chats too. Coming straight to the highlight of this place, the special friday evenings!! You get a plate of Pani Puri at the rate of 5 rupees per plate and the other dishes at 10 rupees per plate as shown in the menu!! Yes it will be pretty crowded on fridays due to that reason. You get 5 nos of puris for any dish that you would take, and it tastes pretty decent too. I would really suggest you to visit this place for a tummy filling chats which would be seriously light on your pockets. They also have packed snacks Kachori, Samosa and others. They also make good Parathas. They also have Chole Bhature on sunday mornings. Worth visiting!
I love the Kachorie’s and Samosa’s. Really a good spread of item’s. The Rasmalai, Rasgulla & the Dhokla’s are delicious. You will not be disappointed because they give you a choice of item’s to chose from. Neat and clean packaging if you order a home delivery. Overall a good place to have something delicious if you have a sweet tooth. Impressed.
This is a new addition to the busy 24th Main where parking can be a hassle during peak hours and weekends. There was a small party at home and since we have heard a lot about the Samosas here decided to pick some along with some Kaaju barfi. There was good variety of sweets and snacks stocked up in the store and we just focused on the ones we wanted as we were in a hurry. The Samosas and Kaaju Barfi were very good and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed the stuff.I would definitely revisit to try the other items.Yet another must try option.
