Been for for a lunch date. The menu is exciting, but most of the dishes are not upto the mark. The menu included chicken shorba soup, chicken tawa fry, fish tawa fry, leg piece, chicken kebab, crispy corn, spinach cheese roll, veg manchurian, chicken seekh kebab, potato wedges. Live grill included fish, chicken, prawns, paneer, mushroom, sweet corn, pineapple and watermelon. Fish n chicken weren’t great. The pieces were big and marination wasn’t tasty enuf. The grill fish wasn’t falling apart. It was a bit chewy like chicken. But the prawns was tasty despite heavy marination on tiny prawn. Except these, all other starters were great.Coming to main course, the biriyani was below average. Chicken curry and egg curry were mouthwatering with the butter kulchas. They are serving neer dosa served with coconut chutney. It was amazing. Overall, the taste needs to improve alot.
Not value for money, considering that you could have a much better meal (with more options and better service/presentation) at almost the same price at say a Barbeque Nation. Friendly service though; good attempt. You could consider more focus on improving the quality of the preparations as well.
Situated in Jayanagar, this place is easy to find. The staffs are really nice.Their buffet menu is really good. I had soup, chicken, fish, pineapple& watermelon on grill, potato wedges, crispy golden corn. I didn’t had main course. The desserts were really nice. It had fruit salad, few tarts, pastries, gulab juman and moong dal halwa and icecream.The starters weren’t really tasty as I was expecting.The seating arrangement is really nice. The ambience of this place is also good.The staffs did try their best to change the taste of the starters but eventually I was not satisfied.The non veg buffet costed around Rs 850 including tax and I think it was not worth with the food quality I received.I will be visiting this place again to see if there is any changes than the last time.Thank you Sea Lions Restaurant for having me.#HappyEating
If you want a perfect buffet and want to change taste from BBQ Nation then you should definitely try out this place.It is situated next to Thalapakatti biriyani . Everything was perfect staring from the starters, main course, deserts and live ice cream counter.The staffs are very polite and the service was very fast. Interior, theme , sitting arrangement everything is awesome.Please try out this place once.
