Great find, new place. Good wood fried pizza, but the potatoes pizza needs a slight correction, the potato should be thinner, sliced & well fried or baked longer in olive oil. Right now its too soft & boiled. Otherwise all else was good, the exotic teas are a bit overpriced for a tea bag, it should be served with a brew pot at that price. 4 cheese pizza was good, deserts were also decent.

You must have read about the ambience already but let me say it again that it was absolutely amazing. Maybe that’s what draws in so many people here. There’s doodle everywhere on the walls, cute hanging lights all over and cozy corners. What I loved the most was that they have trees inside the restaurant but it feels part of the decor. Friendly staff. Now about the food, it is just as the name suggests, the flavours are very mild and if you’re expecting Indianized version of Italian food then this is not for you. Service was quick once you get the table(which is a big wait in itself). Dessert was amazing. Reasonably priced. Valet service and Table reservation system could be better.

Yet another old madras house transformed to a cafe, but this one’s got the looks and the chops. It’s super pretty in the night, has multiple spaces – semi open seating around a grand old tree, inside the house, glass room – for small- ish parties and the selection of food is pretty good. We tried miso panneer & buckwheat noodles & a cheese tortellini – both came in good portions & tasted like they should. No complaints. Spl mention to the staff, I had carried some pasties to gift a friend, the staff noticed & offered to keep it in the freezer for us, considering it may get mushy in the 1-2 hrs we will be there – such li’l thoughtful gestures go a long way in making the place & exp memorable! Looking forward to more memorable meals @ fika!

How beautiful is this place! The food is amazing too. Very fancy and perfect for some nifty pictures. We loved everything we had here – from pumpkin spiced soup to the banoffee pie. Will definitely go back there to get some pictures clicked and try other items off the menu. Doll yourself up before you go here because you will regret not being photo ready 😛 Raghuram

You can’t miss Fika’s beauty. Right from the time you step into its premises till the time you leave with a tummy full (or stuffed), you shall have the gorgeous ambience like a constant companion, ready to take you in for a sensorial conversation. Lamps, gardens, graffiti, colours, curtains, fireplace – the overall decor is both elegant and eclectic. We visited as a large group of 21 friends and so, had the opportunity to sample its various elements through many eyes, all at once.Between 4 to 7 PM , they have only the afternoon menu – pizzas, desserts and beverages. So, we ordered the pizzas (the Sicilian , fig and honey, mushroom garlic, Mexican style, broccoli and potato), the dessert (tiramisu) and the beverages (rose tea, masala tea, filter coffee and iced milo). The pizzas were, for the want of a better word, delicious! Fresh, crisp with right soft bite, breaking the cheese into a long, silky love affair. If we thought we had begun on a high and what might follow might throw us out of gear, we were proven wrong. The tiramisu that followed sent us into a tizzy! It was to die for! And I am being damn serious here. The teas were good (well, it had to be underwhelming after the high), and could definitely be more flavorsome and aromatic.Post 7 PM, we unleashed the glutton side of us and ordered these – spiced pumpkin soup, burrata mozzarella, French omelette, duck ravioli, bruschetta trio – and more desserts but about that later. The main course continued to maintain the high standard of the place and the I found the pumpkin soup, a burst of flavour and herbs in my mouth. Burrata mozzarella, which 3 of my friends had, made its patrons mighty happy. The duck ravioli was a let down though, and so was the bruschetta trio. The Frenthe omelette hit the right spot and my friends dug into my plate. Grrrr. It was the winding time and we had to indulge ourselves with another round of desserts. So in came the banana banoffee, chocolate ripple, nutella pannacotta, butterscotch brulee and (you guessed it right) tiramisu. If the mighty tiramisu has a rival, it is the gooey banana banoffee. That little cup of moist sweetness sent us to heavens higher than we knew. Damn, we couldn’t do with one! The nutella pannacotta and butterscotch brulee left much to be desired though. Well such is life. The expansive food experience ends here. The service? Quite good. The waiters are polite, genial and attentive. The good thing was their willingness to accept what they didn’t know and coming back to us with the right information. The place is quite large and spacious, not allowing the adjacent table to partake in your tete-tete.After the sun is down, outdoors is, without doubt, the place to be. A section of it is yet to be opened but a glasshouse like cabin can give you a fantasy world feeling.Billing was hassle free. And the valet parking helps, especially because the place gets really crowded towards the evenings, more so if it’s a weekend. Reservations are recommended; I suggest you ask them what you want – a long table for a big group or a demure sofa for a romantic date or a lunch date with self :)Recommended.–Meal for 2: INR 1000 (Veg); INR 1500 (Non-Veg)
