One of the best dessert places you can actually go to, the cakes, cookies, pies and everything she sells or not sells, she does custom made orders and everything is delicious and beautifully done! I love Karlitas! ??

Happened upon a little coffee stand in Mahahual next to soccer field. Fabulous local organic coffee and one of a kind, freshly made pastries. Beautiful, artistic key lime pie!

A perfect place with yummy options – whether cheesecake, bagel, smoothie or coffee. Popular among locals. A good wifi connection which isn’t true everywhere on the malecon. Don’t miss it!

Karlita’s sweets were legendary. Sadly, the Bambu Hostal that now occupies the space offers pretty much only coffee, espresso, lattes. Those are nice, but that’s almost all that is available.
