Came here on a Monday for lunch as its just downstairs from the office which is very convenient for us. Its disappointing how the brunch menu is only until 10.30am though because thats already half of the menu gone by lunchtime. We ended up getting the cabinet food and between 3 we got the chicken wrap, sirloin burger, pastrami sandwich, frittata, and a little salted caramel slice with macadamia nuts. The sirloin burger got toasted which added some flavor to the beef and the sauce. The sweet and sourness of the sauce gives it a lively kick to the sirloin which was really nice, but the buns were a little soggy inside. The chicken wrap and frittata werent really exciting in terms of flavor as they both lacked seasoning. Itd be good if the chicken wrap got toasted too.The pastrami sandwich was quite nice as the pastrami was thinly cut and juicy which brings out the saltiness of the smoked meat. This added flavor to the sourness of the fillings in the sandwich. You can choose to sit outside under the shade to enjoy a sunny lunch or you could choose to sit inside and enjoy the air conditioning. Overall rating: 10/10 We ordered: Poke bowl $22, tiramisu donut $3, immunity juice: carrot, ginger, tumeric, lemon, apple $6. Poke bowl as aesthetic af, loved the flowers and green . Was delish and healthy, only thing is wish there was more flavor to it; like some herbs perhaps? Donut was very reasonably priced and yummy . Juice was so fresh! Exactly what I needed on this muggy day Average Price: $25 including drinks Vibes: lunch with office friends Parking: Meter parking along Shorthand St or close to Britomart train station Staff: friendly I had a little creature in my first donut. I thought it crawled out of the donut but on second thought if the donut was cooked how is the fly alive? So it must have flew onto the donut when I wasnt looking anyway, staff replaced the donut with a fresh new one. Negative: connected to a lobby of a large office space so people coming and going but not really a big negativeLoves: the decor! So bright and simple . Free sparkling water!! Holaaa
