This is a takeaway spot. It is not fancy, and it is not healthy. It uses a mixture of fresh and frozen ingredients. It certainly isn’t going to win any gourmet awards. HOWEVER… it is fast, the people are polite, the portions are massive and the value is second to none. It has an extensive menu. The Malaysian and Chinese dishes are tasty but not traditional and from ready made sauces. But you certainly get more than you pay for. If I was reviewing the service or value for money, then I would give full marks. Their potato fritters are crispy, but I’ve got to be honest, the chips can be a bit soggy. The thick-shakes are the shizzle lol. All in all, I feel very blessed to have such a great local, and would definitely recommend it.
As a Chinese I would recommend the Malaysian dishes and vermicilli dish. Please do not try the lemon dish. Fish & Chips is good, I don’t like the potato fritters.
Pretty good take out. They don’t skimp on the portions that’s for sure. Himself has fried rice and the rest of us had burgers, fish and wedges. Everything was yummy. The burger was great, it was full of salad and really tasty. We ordered snapper and the portions were huge. Nice takeout for a long weekend.
Nice service. Steak and egg burger not too good. Seafood soup tasted like fish water. Wong tong soup was probably the best we’ve had out of what we ordered. Next time we’ll stick to the usual order – hot chips only.
Best takeaway Noodles in Auckland. Ordered the Roast Beef noodles and the roast beef is cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff too! Must try seafood noodles as well.
Pretty good burgers, potato fritters & chips! they were quick to make the order & friendly when picking up, plus we got an extra potato fritter!!
Great chips – excellent potato fritters too. Properly crispy.Not tried much of their other dishes but the chicken fried rice is good, prawn crackers & wontons – they have good food here.
