Went there for my girlfriends birthday. We walked around the island and happened to stop by Kennedy. The host didn’t really pay too much attention to us as there were a bunch of people from a tour at the same time. They literally spoke to us for 2 mnts about the wine and left us on our own before running back to the tour. Seemed rushed and hence wasn’t the greatest experience compared to the other vineyards we visited on the same day. The wine was good, the experience wasn’t.I asked the host how their wine was different from the other vineyards since they claimed to be an organic vineyard and all he said was they they don’t use the same fertilizers and pest control sprays the others use.

A very nice couple of French lads running the wine shop which also do a few lunch dishes to match the different wines they have – they evan notice my water bottle on my bike needed filling & filled it foe me, nice touch.

Had a brilliant time trying their wines, host was knowledgable and friendly. Brought some to take home, looking forward to trying them.We didn’t eat but what we saw coming out of the kitchen was amazing, will definitely have to go back another time!
This is one of the cuter and smaller wineries on Waiheke and one thing that really stood out for us was their olive oil, avocado oil and honey, they were so good we had to take some back to the mainland. Their property is lovely and given the chance, definitely check KP out, if not just for their oils!
