Takapuna beach cafe is somewhere I went a lot as a kid especially to ‘the store’ to get ice cream. Their ice cream is my absolute favourite and never disappoints. I highly recommend everyone try the ice cream here. Came here for brunch and got the ‘avo on toast’ and it tasted really good and fresh. I also had an ‘iced mocha’ and I love the presentation as it comes deconstructed which is so good for photos. I recently also came here with my sister for morning tea and they had a table inside the cafe with lots of goodies from ‘the store’ so my sister got the carrot cake and I had the lemon curd donut and they both tasted sooo good and you could tell they were freshly baked. View is also really nice of the beach. Must go spot, def reccomend :))
Takapuna Beach Cafe And Store is damn alright. Used to come here loads when I was little but I recently came back just for a coffee with my parents. The cafe is always busy so if you go here to eat defiently make a booking! I got an iced mocha and you have to do it yourself which I find super dope and then you can put in as much coffee or milk as you like. I didn’t like how the kitchen was open it was very unappealing because you don’t wanna be eating or drinking with the noise and sight of the busy hot kitchen. The cafe is average just very busy and loud but the iced mocha’s are to die for. x
There arent words to describe how beautiful and surreal being at this place is. Staff are lovely, views are amazing and food is even better! Their deconstructed iced coffees are an all time fav. This place is quite pricey but also worth it. Perfect spot for a lunch time date and walk on the beach.
We ordered the Cauliflower Pasta and Wagyu Beef Burger.The pasta was delicious and I absolutely loved the creaminess of the dish, and the portion size was rather generous. The burger was a little dry and quite underwhelming, and we ended up finding a hair in it. We didnt have time to complain and ask for a new dish as it already took a while to come out in the first place. However, we mentioned it to the lady upon paying and she excluded that dish from the bill, which we didnt expect so that was very kind of them.Overall though, Im just not sure that everything here was worth the hefty prices.
I would be here everyday if i lived on the shore! Their food has never disappointed. I usually also get a deconstructed coffee which is something fun and yummy too. Always a pleasant experience here
Came in today for a Waitangi Day brunch. We ordered the granola and the wagyu beef burger with a side of fries. The sauce that the burger came with was amazing. It was a perfect dip for the fries. The yoghurt in the granola tasted fresh and creamy. It had a bit of a cream cheese feel to it. It was definitely one of the best granolas Ive had in Auckland.
The best cafe in Takapuna beach:) i love iced coffee here so much as i can make my own(?) hahaha. I love to come here. View is nice. Kind staff.
