Wow. ..had an awesome meal last night. Great Indian cuisine. We dine in and take out often and have been very happy always with our food.
We read the other reviews and they are bang on. Fantastic to have awesome Indian food while we were passing through Te Aroha. As good as any I’ve eaten around the world. We had a selection of at least 8 different dishes and there was no disappointment.
Well I read the reviews and thought, it sounds to good to be true. I’ve eaten a lot of good Indian food, but none as good as this!! Fantastic food, we had guests who don’t really eat indian and they thoroughly enjoyed also. Lucky you, Te Aroha!!!!
We couldn’t believe our luck when we moved just down the road from the best Indian takeaway outlet in New Zealand. We have tried many, and none come even halfway close to Taj. Coming from the UK we know our curries!
Be careful if you like it hot like I do, especially if you ask for Indian hot :} Awesome though. I’m proud to have such a good Indian takeaway in town. Truly good Indian food!! The Korma is my fav :-}
We have had indian food from all over NZ and England and never before have I had such wonderful, delicious and perfect flavours from anywhere but Taj. We tried an Indian restaurant in Auckland that had had a write up in the paper and was described as the best in town but it was so disappointing and had nothing on Taj – this is a MUST-GO because you’ll never believe or understand it until you try it!
We have enjoyed every dish we have tried from Taj. As we love our Indian food it is nice to get a good meal from friendly people here in Te Aroha.
