LHOC is located in a quiet place. I asked the staff what do they recommend really and I was with my friends. They had only organic foods that is kinda unique. So we placed the order and we got it within 20 minutes. We enjoyed our food and we took some photos because the ambience was really good. So once we got the bill we gave the card for the payment. Unfortunately the card machine didn’t work and I had to make a withdraw from the atm. Since good taste of the food we didn’t take this as a serious problem which is a problem.

One of the best coffee places in colombo and they just have incredible customer service. The staff is so nice and helpful and even went ahead and gave me a intro on the concept of the brand that they are building. The place is suitable for going out on a date, chilling with friends or even to have a buisness meeting. Because the place is so calm, quiet and classy. The prices of the items are moderate and i feel for 2 people to have coffee and meals it would average around 1300 to 2000rs depending on what you buy.

Ambiance : 5/5Variety : Food – 2/5 Beverages – 5/5Taste : Food – 2/5 Beverages – 5/5Value for money : 4/5Revisit : Yes, for their coffee.Situated in a relatively quiet neighbourhood this place has an ambience of it’s own. From the entrance to the seating it astonishes you in every step. The moment you enter you smell that fresh coffee smell which is so refreshing. Went on a weekend so the place was full. No need of booking ahead but can be done if you want. Parking space is limited and due to the ongoing security concerns you have to park opposite to the premises. Being a two storied cafe it has all sorts of seating options from couples to small groups, even small conferences can be held here. Upstairs there is an open balcony area which is smoker friendly. You can spend hours and hours here and the calm and quiet atmosphere give a little push to that idling urge. Plus this place comes with free WiFi! Perfect for geeks. Coming to food, this place is renowned for their refined coffee but if you expect a great collection of edibles you will be disappointed. This is the only pescatarian restaurant I’ve seen in colombo, so if you are a meat lover this is not the place. But the selection of beverages is top notch and won’t disappoint you. We ordered Dark Chocolate latte and Cafe caremal latte which tasted divine. If you visit this place trying those two is a must. From edibles tried Tuna salad and Fish pot pie. Both were ok, but texture wise and in terms of quality of food, I have tasted better ones. Tried their London House cheese cake which was superb and their chocolate brownie which was very average. Staff is very friendly and polite. There are no service charges nor government taxes. Definitely a place worth visiting if you are around to try their coffee.

LHOC is in a quiet and calm neighbourhood in busy Colombo. They are known for their process of coffee making starting from the cultivation.Tried the Dark Chocolate Latte which was superb! but the Tuna Sandwich fell short in suprising.Ambiance is nice. Ideal for meetups and dates. Plenty of room with comfy sofas though the place looks smaller on the outside. They have a nice balcony area but unfortunately it’s smoking friendly. And the Service was good.Definitely worth a revist to try their range of perfectly processed coffee!
