In the old quarter of the 1700s there is Caf Wahlman. Here the bakery is baked in the own bakery with the fondness of well-produced fine ingredients. There are coffee, sandwiches, pie, salad, baked potatoes and today's mushroom buffet. The environment is beautiful and inspiring and completely restored from tragic 80tal. The refurbishment is award winning to be outstandingly done. There is plenty of space in the salons inside and the two garden shops outside. There is ramp, handicap wc and a helping hand if needed! Klasiska Byggvaror, Dalarna's most well-stocked building care store, are in the same house and also have a decorative shop. Open year on Monday-Saturday. Summer open all red days except Midsummer's Eve until September 3 at 12-16. Welcome!Details

This café is a former apothecary, over 200 years old, and it’s old fashioned surroundings make for a pleasant meal, whether taken indoors or out. The food, whether coffee breads or hot meals, is well worth the money.

Out in the countryside there is always the customer base for cafes in the old environment.An extra plus here is the extensive vintage building maintenance shop close up.Wahlman has a nice outdoor seating the few days it may be necessary
